Winter Engagement Session Downtown Grand Rapids – Cara & Eric

Y’all I’ve got a winter wonderland engagement session for you, just in time for Christmas! I had so much fun traveling up to my home state of MI this last weekend. My best friend and cousin, Cara, is getting married this January to a wonderful guy and I am so happy we were able to squeeze in some engagement photos before their big day! It was so cold! Too much time in NC has left me so unused to air that hurts my face, lol. And it was snowing quite hard. But you wouldn’t know it, the way these two rocked it out. They didn’t complain once, obliged all my requests, and Eric was a boss driving in the snow. Please enjoy a few of my favorites! We went downtown Grand Rapids, did a few images on the streets and then moved to the top of a parking garage and wouldn’t you know it, those images ended up being my favorites from the whole session. If there is a lesson to learn for photographers don’t underestimate the top of a parking garage! and for clients, trust your photographer if they ask you to pose in a place that seems unconventional!
