My little sister is engaged! Last weekend, you may have seen that my husband and I were up in MI for a family wedding. I had the privilege of photographing, not one, but two gorgeous engagement sessions, while we were there! The fist was my dear cousin Anna’s engagement session in downtown St. Joe. Last Sunday evening we wandered the property where we grew up and captured some adorable images. We had a blast! They were both adamant that they didn’t enjoy having their photos taken, but you wouldn’t guess it for a minute. They kept each other laughing the whole time. Which I think is amazing, in a relationship! You have to make each other laugh!

It is so special capturing these milestones for my family in the places that are so precious to us. The number of senior sessions, parties, weddings and even a few proposals on this property is incredible to think about! And it was an honor to photograph this sweet couple here. Andrea and Jake I am so happy for you both and can’t wait to celebrate with you in October. Enjoy just a few of my favorites!
