Raleigh Winter Couple’s Session

I got my snow fix, y’all! Cue happy dance! As a MI native, I can’t quite describe the feeling I get when there’s snow in the forecast, here in NC, and when it actually delivers! It’s kind of like being 8 years old again and even though we were homeschooled, we still got a snow day, because Dad was a highschool teacher and he got a snowday and who can focus when Dad is home 🙂

Anyway, I digress. This lovely couple is James and Jilly and they were troopers! The snow and chilly temps didn’t deter them from their session and we had a blast over at Lassiter Mill in North Hills, capturing these images. It’s been so long since I’ve gotten to capture portraits with a snowy background and I am in love with how these turned out!

We kept the session brief due to the cold temperatures, but that didn’t keep us from getting lots of gorgeous images! Please enjoy a few of my favorites! Thank you Jilly and James for giving me an excuse to play in the snow <3
