Oakland Farm Wedding – Ethan & Jordan

This past weekend’s wedding was an absolute dream! Ethan & Jordan are dear friend’s of ours (my husband and myself). And having the privilege of capturing their wedding day was so special! They got married at Oakland Farm in Bear Creek, NC. Ya’ll this was my first time at this venue, and my goodness, it is now one of my favorites. They had beautiful spaces for both the reception and ceremony, and the cutest little farm house available for the bridesmaids to stay at. And Claire the coordinator with Bustled Events was amazing, at bringing Jordan’s vision to life. The whole day ran so smoothly.

I was obsessed with Jordan’s color palette. Perhaps I was a little biased. (My Bridesmaid’s also wore dark green) But her use of Fall neutrals was absolutely gorgeous! Jordan’s attention to detail was amazing! And I had so much fun photographing all the sweet little details. And Jordan’s bouquet by Abbie Dallin Designs was beautiful! Seriously, it’s one of my all time favorites!

Jordan’s robe was made from her Mother’s wedding dress. It was so pretty! And was just one more way this couple prioritized honoring their family and friends.

I absolutely loved the suspenders and bowties, the guys wore. It was a sharp look and so fitting for this September wedding.

How gorgeous is Jordan’s dress! I was so excited to finally see her in it. She gave me a sneak peek a few weeks ago and I was immediately obsessed. . . with the train in particular. The lace was so pretty!

Such a beautiful bride!

Next we had a first look with Jordan’s Dad and brother. This was such a sweet moment. The love this family has for each other was a highlight the entire day.

And then afterwards, Jordan gifted a special handkerchief to her Dad.

Next it was finally time for Ethan to see his stunning bride!

We then headed out to get some pre-ceremony portraits. This driveway with all the gorgeous trees was the perfect spot!

Of course we then had to get a few pictures with the bridal party. This group of people was so fun all day! They kept each other laughing, were so helpful and supportive. Ethan and Jordan are so blessed by this group of friends.

It was then time to get married! The ceremony space was so simple and stunning all at the same time!

The face you make when you see your bride coming down the aisle.

The ceremony was sweet. The gospel message was shared. Jordan’s Dad said a few words and led the rope braiding ceremony. It is one of my favorites, because it so clearly represents how God needs to be center in our marriages. There was even a special time of prayer for the couple. This family loves Jesus and it was apparent, the entire day. And it was inspiring and humbling to witness.

That just married feeling! There’s nothing else like it.

The reception hall was beautiful! All of the floral arrangements from the bouquets to centerpieces were incredible. And Ethan and Jordan love to travel and people came from all over to celebrate with them. I loved the travel theme to their décor. The tables were labeled by different locations. And I loved the little nod to their cat Gilbert, over at the bar.

There was even an ice cream truck! Ethan and Jordan had it all! We had to sneak out early to get a few pics. Vintage Scoops had such a cool set-up.

One of my favorite parts of the day. Sunset portraits!

We then headed back inside for toasts, parent dances and the rest of the party!

I love the last dance. It’s such a sweet way to end an amazing party.

Congratulations, Ethan & Jordan! Paul and I are so happy for you and wish you all the best on this next adventure! Thank you for choosing us to be a part of your special day! We love you guys!
