MI in the Fall is one of my favorite places in the whole world. And it was an honor to capture my cousin’s wedding this past weekend on the farm where we both grew up. Anna and Jacob met in college a number of years ago, and it was such a joy to celebrate their marriage. Their wedding was a sweet intimate affair, with the perfect Fall comfort food. Sign me up for any wedding with chili, a baked potato bar, and hot chocolate.

I loved all the Fall details. My Uncle Bruce ( Anna’s Dad) loves to garden, so their was an abundance of pumpkins and mums. It couldn’t have been more perfect. I adore all the pops of color this wedding had.

When figuring out the timeline for the day, we decided on a first look, because we knew the daylight would fade so quickly after the ceremony. I personally love first looks, because it allows you to get to your party faster, after the ceremony, and still allows plenty of time for portraits.

How fun are these Fall colors! And I just loved the shawls Anna had for her and her bridesmaids.

This bridal party rocked it out! They were so helpful and encouraging all day long, and while it got quite windy at this point in the day, everyone just rolled with it! I am so glad that Anna and Jacob have such a wonderful group of friends.

Time to get married!

We didn’t have much time before dinner, but we managed to sneak away for a few sunset portraits and they didn’t disappoint. As usual, they turned out to be some of my favorite images from the entire day!

Anna’s dress was perfect for twirling! My Disney Princess heart was so happy!

Anna & Jacob weren’t going to do any kind of a send-off, so we set aside a little time to have some fun with a night portrait, to end the day.
