I’ve had the privilege of photographing Levi and Korey’s growing family a few times over the years. I am so honored when family trusts me to capture their memories. And it’s so good seeing these kiddos again! I used to babysit for them, and I was sad, when it came time for me to leave for NC, bringing my time with them to an end. (Don’t get me wrong, I love NC)
So, when Korey reached out to me a few weeks ago, asking if there was any chance I’d be in the area, at the end July, I couldn’t believe it! I had just been lovingly pestering my husband about heading up to MI a week earlier than originally planned, because I couldn’t wait to see my family again. And that would absolutely put us in the area, right when Korey needed photos. Her brother and his family were visiting from out of town and she wanted to make sure they all got some portraits!
In pure cranky MI fashion, it was uncharacteristically warm, but that didn’t stop these parents and their kids from having some fun, on an otherwise gorgeous evening!

Get used to the sticks. They were the prop of choice this evening, LOL

These smart little ladies, decided to put their own spin on walking photos and opted for a ride.

Based off this smile, I’m pretty sure, sticks as props, was the best idea all evening.

The light coming through these trees was absolutely perfect!

The kids had so much fun with this log pile!

Dad always has good ideas for extra fun!

And there’s Dad again, keeping the smiles coming 🙂

Gotta check for frogs!

And sometimes at the end of the day, we all just need a hug 🙂
