Miss Vivian Rose is one week old! For those following along, we welcomed our second little girl home on Tuesday September 12th, two days before her due date. My first was born eight days after her due date, so I was very surprised when, what I figured were false alarms, turned out to be actual labor. It’s hard to believe we’ve been able to snuggle this precious little bundle for a whole week now. So far she is the sweetest little thing and it’s so much fun watching Eleanor be a big sister. Don’t get me wrong, there have been some big feelings from our oldest with all the transition, but despite that, she is absolutely enchanted with baby sister. This makes my mama heart full.

To celebrate one week, I decided to do some newborn photos. With Eleanor, I didn’t end up getting any official photos until she was a month old. And while there’s nothing wrong with that, lol, I wanted to try and get some photos done a little earlier this time. Miss Vivian was a dream model, staying asleep for the majority of the session, and Eleanor was a champ considering we messed up naptime by a long bit. Getting photos with toddlers can be quite the challenge, but the memories are so worth it. You just have to embrace the chaos!
