Happy Valentine’s Day! I’ve got something a little different for you this afternoon. How sweet is this board book? This book was written and self-published by my cousin Laura www.lauracraft.shop . She has a lovely online shop where you can purchase this book among other various gift items. You should definitely check it out. Anyway, this book has been in the works for some years now, and it was so neat to see the finished product! It’s a cute little story about what can happen if you try and please everyone at the same time, while baking. And my daughter, Eleanor absolutely loves it! I initially wasn’t sure how she would do, having her picture taken for this session. However, she was glued to the pages, lol, and regularly asks me to read it to her. The illustrations by Lucy Shin are just adorable and it’s a quick read if you’re working your way through a stack, like Eleanor so often brings me.
