Happy Wednesday everyone! I feel as though I’ve been quite absent recently. I haven’t gone anywhere, but to say the transition from one to two littles has been a challenge is an understatement. But that is a blog post for another day. Today, I want to highlight this beautiful little girl, who turned three back in October! While I did manage to snap these birthday photos, as you can see, months have gone by before I’ve gotten around to sharing them.
Miss Eleanor is three now! I can hardly believe it. She is turning into a passionate, beautiful little lady. It is incredible to see my toddler turn into a little girl. Doubly so, when I look at Miss Vivian and remember it wasn’t that long ago that Eleanor was that little. It is truly unbelievable, at times, how quickly the years go by. Some of her favorite things right now, are everything Frozen, the color green, helping Dad with the tractor, and helping me in the kitchen (if I even hint there’s baking to be done). She loves her baby sister and is waiting, mostly patiently, for the day Vivian is big enough to participate in her wildly imaginative games. It reminds me so much, of myself and my sisters. It warms this mama’s heart.
She enjoys singing Bible songs and is asking more often for me to help her pray, instead of just wanting me to pray. It’s so lovely to see her starting to participate rather than simply watching. Since the day she’s been born, I’ve been praying she will come to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior. It’s humbling to see, even now the way God is working in her and using Paul and I in her life.
Enjoy these photos! Happy Three years, Eleanor! Mom & Dad love you!
