Miss Eleanor is two! Goodness have the last couple years gone by in a blur. And honestly, she turned two almost a month ago. Figured I better get this blog post up before any more time goes by. I forget how crazy October is for Photographers, and am realizing that prioritizing my daughter’s October 17th birthday is going to take attention and hard work in the coming years.

This session was my attempt to get some good photos of this milestone for her. And you know what? I captured them during downtown while I was photographing a newborn session and the second set of images during a church event. I kept waiting for the perfect time to make it happen, and then realized I just needed to do it or the moment would slip by. There’s a lesson here, I think. Mommas, just take the photos, or have them taken. The time will never be perfect. Embrace the moment you have, not necessarily the one you want. I am a professional photographer and I think I got two images of my daughter actually looking at the camera? Lol. Can I admit that out loud?
But that doesn’t make these images less precious or adorable. Two year olds are crazy! And I will cherish these images of this busy little girl and I’ll treasure the fact that I have these memories. Please enjoy these favorites of my sweet little girl.
